Remove Sharp Corners From Sheet Metal Parts Automatically
Sharp Corner Remover automates the process of identifying and filleting sharp edges on sheet metal parts in Autodesk Inventor. It distinguishes between internal and external edges, selecting only the external sharp corners that need filleting to prevent injuries to equipment users.
The addin is launched from the "3D Model > Remove Corners" menu item. When activated, it automatically identifies all external sharp edges on the part and launches the fillet UI where users can set the desired radius. A single click applies fillets to all selected edges.
