Print Manager collects all referenced drawings from any Inventor assembly, part, or drawing file and stages them for batch printing. It operates in two modes — Directory mode for browsing any folder, and Project mode for working within Inventor projects — so you can print entire reference trees without opening each file individually.
Select files from the tree view, stage them to the print area, configure sheet-to-printer mappings, and print everything in one pass. The tool handles idw, iam, and ipt file types, with thumbnail previews and full path visibility for every staged document.

Six core capabilities cover the day-to-day reality of batch-printing large Inventor assembly drawing sets.
Browse any folder or valid Inventor document. The tree populates with assemblies, parts, and drawings filtered by file type (idw, iam, ipt).
Select an Inventor project from the dropdown to populate the tree with the project's structure. Switch between directory and project modes seamlessly.
Check any tree node to auto-populate the reference drawings table — folder children, single files, or full assembly reference trees.
Print Manager operates in Directory mode or Project mode. In either mode, the workflow is the same: browse → select → stage → configure → print.
Browse any folder or Inventor document (assembly/part/drawing). The tree view populates with content filtered by file type using radio buttons (idw, iam, ipt). Check nodes in the tree to populate the reference drawings table — selecting a folder adds all children, selecting an assembly fetches all referenced documents and their corresponding drawings.
Select an Inventor project from the dropdown to populate the tree. Only one project displays at a time. Switching from directory to project mode clears the tree and fills it with the latest selection. The same stage-and-print workflow applies once files are selected.
Before printing, use the Configure button to map drawing sheet sizes to printer paper sizes and printers. The selected sheet will print to the specified paper on the specified printer. Set a default location to save print reports, and optionally enable "Save last print documents" to restore the print queue on next launch. If a sheet size is not configured when you print, a Map Sheet Size dialog prompts you to assign it on the spot (skip or save).
